Palmerola International Airport handles an average of 18 operations and more than 2,500 people a day, maintaining a high flow of passengers and visitors.

In total, nine American, Spirit, Avianca, Copa and United airlines are received on the large Palmerola platform and then go abroad for a total of 18 operations.

The airport has seven modern boarding bridges, which make managing the flight easier and faster.

Most flights come from Miami, Houston, Panama City, Guatemala City, Fort Lauderdale and El Salvador, among others.

The flow of passengers received by Palmerola has increased by almost 40% compared to that received at Toncontín airport. This significant increase in passengers is largely due to the reduction in the price of airline tickets and the security guarantees offered by the new terminal.

The number of airlines has also increased in Palmerola, as while only four airlines operate in Toncontín, there are already six in Palmerola: American, Spirit, Avianca, Copa, United and Aeromexico, increasing the competitiveness of Honduran airports.
