Palmerola will expand the shopping area due to the high demand for space
The director of the Airport Division of the Emco-Munich group, Peter Fleming, reported that the commercial spaces that Palmerola Airport has in the commercial area have already been fully purchased.
"We have all the spaces sold out. The demand of the companies to want to be in Palmerola is very high, the entrepreneurs believe in the project and in the advantage that the presence here will bring ”, he revealed.
Fleming explained that there were many companies that applied to be able to purchase the spaces, but they remained the ones that presented the best offer and met all the required requirements.
"What we are looking for is for all the companies in the terminal to offer passengers first-class services and products," he said.
The executive revealed that due to the large number of requests to purchase space, the commercial space located at the level of arrivals will be expanded.
"We will allocate more commercial space to be able to offer a variety of services. We have several restaurants, convenience stores, financial services, souvenirs, retail, duty free, food and drink, among others ", he explained.
Palmerola is nearing the start of operations. The modern terminal is expected to be inaugurated on October 15 and with it an important commercial and economic boost for the central part of the country.
